I’m excited to announce a new feature that’s been highly requested: Projects!
Here’s the challenge I kept hearing: the AI needed more context about your work to give truly helpful feedback. You might have a dozen documents for the same novel, multiple character profiles, world-building notes - but the AI was looking at each piece in isolation.
Projects solve this.
What Are Projects?
Projects let you create a focused workspace that groups related documents and chats together. But more importantly, you can add context that the AI remembers across all your work in that project:
- Story context: World-building details, character backgrounds, plot points
- Target audience: YA novel? Adult thriller? Junior fiction?
- Genre and tone: Help the AI understand your creative direction
- Any other details that matter for your specific work
Why This Matters
When your AI assistant understands the bigger picture:
- Reviews become more relevant - the AI can spot inconsistencies across your entire story
- Suggestions align with your audience - feedback is tailored to your readers
- Everything just… clicks better - no more explaining context repeatedly
Getting Started
Creating your first project is simple:
- Create a new project and give it a name
- Add your story context (world details, character info, etc.)
- Specify your target audience if you like
- Move existing documents into the project space
- Start chatting - the AI now has the full picture
All your work stays organized in one focused space, and the AI remembers what you’re building toward.
What’s Next
This is just the beginning. I have more Project features in the pipeline based on what authors tell me they need. So definitely let me know how it works for your writing process!
